Hi! My name is Rich T and I am a manga artist based in London, UK. Here at Rich T Manga Academy I aim to help give direction and inspiration to those looking to improve their character drawing skills.
I teach people in their homes at times to suit, and provide everything required to get you on your way. Whether you’re just starting out, struggling with an aspect of illustration such as inking or colouring, or an established artist looking to make their first foray into the world of digital illustration, I’m here to help you find your way!
I have been drawing manga for around 18 years, and have learned a lot! When I first started drawing manga, there was very little support or guidance for this art form which had only just begun to make its way from its homeland, Japan, to the West.
In time I have seen demand for manga grow in the UK, and so I started teaching others to help give them the support and direction I wished I had had access to when I was setting off.
The main focus here at Rich T Manga Academy is support and kindness. Learning a new skill can be very intimidating, and it is my job to make all my students feel welcome and safe so they can learn and grow.
